Stockmar Watercolour Paint 20 ml
Stockmar watercolours have been a long time favourite in our home. Add a tiny bit of the paint to a jar with some water. You can experiment with how much or how little water you use to dilute and adjust based on how rich you would like your colours to be. A little goes a long way and you'll be surprised how long these little bottles will last you! I like mixing a jar full at a time and storing the left overs in the fridge. These paints are also the traditional paint used in Waldorf classrooms. You can find a wonderful tutorial on wet-on-wet watercolour painting here. These are not your typical washable paints. They can stain wood and fabrics so definitely take care to use a painting mat and old clothes if you're worried about stains.
Stockmar Watercolour Paints make their mark with their excellent scumbling properties, natural transparency and lightfastness. The colour range follows the extended version of Goethe's "Theory of colours". Each tone has been adjusted so that it can be mixed well with the others. Harmonious intermediate gradations and boundary-less colour blending are also possible when using the wet-on-wet technique.
Stockmar Watercolour Paints have been tried and tested in art education, at school and kindergarten. These non-toxic paints are long-lasting and remain completely water soluble when dry.
